OCZ DDR3 PC3-12800 Platinum Enhanced Bandwidth Edition Review

Posted on Thursday, December 27 2007 @ 17:42:02 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

Hardwareoverclock Austria has reviewed the OCZ DDR3 PC3-12800 Platinum Enhanced Bandwidth Edition memories. DDR-3 memory is still very expensive, but very good for overclocker. The reason is the high memory clock and the FSB: DDR divider. With 1600 MHz you can set the FSB to 400 MHz, without changing the memory clock. This is a big advantage compared with DDR2.
