Olympus FE-290 Review
Posted on 2008-01-16 12:41:13 by Thomas De MaesschalckThe Olympus FE range is very unpredictable, with some very good cameras and some very poor ones. Unfortunately the FE-290 is one of the latter. Although it is attractively styled and well made, it has almost no features apart from its 4x wide-angle zoom and 3-inch monitor, lacking even such basics as white balance and continuous shooting.

| Are you joking??? The 28mm equivalent wide angle is worth its weight in gold. I have been searching for the holy grail of compacts: An ultracompact with a 28mm equivalent wide angle and decent quality. This is pretty much as good as it gets and for a fantastic price - $200 less than canon's SD870! |
