GeForce 8800 GS vs. Radeon HD 3850 Review

Posted on Tuesday, March 04 2008 @ 12:54:15 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

Although the EN8800GS TOP was able to hang with the EAH3850 TOP in the benchmarking phase, and it offers pretty much all the features found on the EAH3850 TOP, it should be priced around $20-$30 US lower. While we will admit that availability is very poor at this stage, the EN8800GS TOP looks as though it will be priced quite close to the $200 US mark. Given generic GeForce 8800 GS cards are going on sale for just $150 US, consumers will be paying quite a price premium for this ASUS version.
