We expected the Asus Maximus II Formula to be all things to all men and in some ways it does deliver. It has all the toys, a great layout, and it looks the part as well. Nevertheless it doesn't quite add up to a great whole. In essence, in our review of the Biostar TPower I45
[linkout:http://www.trustedreviews.com/motherboards/review/2008/07/10/Biostar-TPower-I45/p1] we said ‘… it’s hard to see why you’d prefer the Biostar to an Asus P5Q Pro, a P5Q Deluxe or an MSI P45 Diamond’ and, unless you're desperate for all the toys, you can say exactly the same thing about the Maximus II.
