Being able to run two ATI cards in a crossfire setup until the release of the 3800 range of cards for those on a budget equaled some serious work related overtime to accomplish. Of course it was only a matter of time before either Nvidia or ATI made such high performance cards available to the masses with their small price tag. And so in late 2007 ATI made this a reality, much to the joy of everyone who wanted/craved a crossfire setup without the need to re-mortgage their homes in order to make this happen.
