    Corsair CM2X512-5400C4PRO DDR2 memory Review

Posted on Tuesday, October 12 2004 @ 16:51:56 CEST by LSDsmurf

Will DDR2 memory become as widely accepted as DDR was or will it be something that just never quite caught on? If you own or plan to own one of Intel's newer boards sooner or later you will have to make the switch and when you do what can you expect. Is it all smoke and mirrors, is it faster than say DDR memory? Today we're reviewing some of Corsair's new CM2X512-5400C4PRO - DDR2 memory today which claims it will hit 675 MHz at 4-4-4-12 timing. We gave it our best shot and also ran it side-by-side with some DDR 533 to see how they compared.
