XFX GeForce GTX 260 Black Edition Video Card Review

Posted on Tuesday, November 18 2008 @ 16:17:08 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

The XFX GeForce GTX 260 Black Edition video card is one sexy looking card, but how does it perform against the Radeon HD 4870? That is what we look at today with the latest and greatest video card from the gang over at XFX. With the latest GTX 260 Core 216 GPU this card is sure to give any graphics card a run for the money! Read on to see how it performs and overclocks!

"Considering how the XFX GeForce GTX 260 Black Edition already has a significant overclock I wasn't expecting much in the way of overclocking headroom. That being said, the results were incredible. I was able to get the core up to 739Mhz, the shaders up to 1557MHz, and the memory up to 1285MHz. This was a 73MHz core overclock, 153MHz shader overclock, and a 286MHz memory overclock."
