    Chaintech 7NJL4 Mainboard Review

Posted on Wednesday, October 13 2004 @ 17:15:24 CEST by LSDsmurf

When was the last time you saw a gameport integrated into a brand-spankin’ new mainboard? Probably around four years ago? And don’t most boards ship with gigabit LAN, SATA ports or even FireWire as the norm these days? Apparently Chaintech has decided that everything old is new yet again with its 7NJL4 nForce2 board. In spite of the integrated features which recall the land that time forgot, does this new board have what it takes to run with the thoroughbreds of today? Or is it a misguided relic—the mainboard equivalent of the Macarena.
