    ASUS P6T Deluxe Motherboard Review

Posted on Monday, December 15 2008 @ 12:57:51 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

ASUS's P6T Deluxe OC Palm Edition is the perfect example of what a new motherboard chipset should be when released. Every conceivable feature including SLI, CrossfireX, 24GB DDR3-1600MHz support, and the general build quality that exists on ASUS's boards generally means that the P6T Deluxe is one of the motherboards to beat in the current crop of X58 motherboards. ASUS has the performance, features and reliability that they are known for. As with any new chipset launch, motherboards can and will improve as the chipset matures. ASUS has already launched six or seven boards using the X58 chipset in them and it will be interesting to see how those fare against the P6T-Deluxe OC Palm edition board in upcoming reviews. Asus gets a solid Hot Product award for the new P6T as I excels in many areas for the new i7 platform.
