ECS G45T-M2 Motherboard Review
|
Posted on Monday, December 15 2008 @ 13:00:53 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck |
Perhaps as a byproduct of their strong OEM division, ECS has been producing a number of reasonably priced, fully featured, general-purpose Micro ATX motherboards. Though these boards lack advanced cooling, fantastic overclocking, or award winning aesthetic, they have always offered one consolation - a great value. Though the chipset that today's motherboard is based on - the G45 - isn't known for fantastic performance, it's feature sheet is fairly comprehensive, and considering the availability of several SATA ports, as well as HDMI, ECS may have just whipped up a nice little HTPC contender. With that in mind, let's take a look at what this board can do.
