    Motorola Timeport P7689 Review

Posted on Friday, October 15 2004 @ 23:23:45 CEST by LSDsmurf

Recently I have been looking for a cellular phone to replace my trusty but aging Nokia 5190. The main features I was looking for were that the phone was small and light but not so small that it hurt my hands to use it for more than 5 mins, a phone that had an infrared port so I could sync the phone with my Palm V, voice dialing (preferably one that works), nice EL backlit screen (I can't stand unevenly lit screens), very sound quality and voice recording (a very important feature for me). So far two phones I have tried almost fit the bill, the Samsung 8580 with it's amazing menu system and screen was very temping but there was no infrared and the sound quality while good was not good enough for my tastes and the T28 World which was a nice size (though a little thin to be comfortable to hold) but lacked an IR port and some other important features). (Yes I know these phone lack other features but I'm just pointing out the things that I though stuck out most). I accepted the fact that I probably wouldn't find a new phone that would have all these features until I spotted the Motorola P7689 (also known as the T250) phone. It has all the features I just mentioned plus a whole lot more. But how well do these features work? Read on
