    Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1 Review

Posted on Friday, January 16 2009 @ 19:27:34 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

Panasonic's revolutionary new G1 combines the image quality and performance of a Four Thirds format DSLR with the convenience and portability of a super-zoom bridge camera. It has interchangeable lenses, but does away with the reflex mirror and pentaprism in favour of an incredibly sharp electronic viewfinder and an articulated monitor. However it is significantly more expensive than most mid-level DSLRs. Will the G1's advantage in size and weight be enough to attract recession-hit buyers in a competitive market?
