Nokia announced its model Nokia 7700 more than a year ago and the device was intended as the one rich in multimedia capabilities and equipped with a touchscreen. Unfortunately, the phone had not worked stably run by Symbian by the expected time and the problem was in the sensory screen. And reasoning from these problems Nokia 9500 was not equipped with a similar display, it is usual and not a touchscreen. That is why the company cancelled a commercial release of Nokia 7700 in the third quarter and the device became some kind of a prototype of a platform available to the partners..
