    Canon PowerShot SX1 IS Review

Posted on Wednesday, February 04 2009 @ 19:44:29 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

With a list of features that includes a high-speed 10MP CMOS sensor, 4fps continuous shooting, a 20x zoom optically stabilised lens with an ultrasonic motor, HD video recording with stereo audio and a widescreen flip-and-twist monitor, it seems that the Canon SX1 IS is trying to be Jack of all trades, and master of them as well. It costs about the same as an entry-level DSLR, and around half the price of a decent camcorder, but can it really do the job of both?
