    Athlon 64 4000+ and FX55 Review

Posted on Wednesday, October 20 2004 @ 20:08:53 CEST by LSDsmurf

Overclocking was certainly on our minds, and we found that taking the 4000+ with the Gigabyte 3D cooler we were able to reach 2.7GHz fairly stably without needing to up the voltage. We found a similar wall with the FX55 reaching as high as 2734. We only benched the 4000+ overclocked, and even there we had some issues with the 3D benchmarks that would not complete.
