Vantec iON2 350W Power Supply Review

Posted on Wednesday, October 20 2004 @ 20:18:38 CEST by LSDsmurf

Considering all the junk power supplies offered with computer cases these days, finding a power supply that's right for your system requirements can be quite a challenge. But don't get me wrong, not all power supplies bundled in with cases are junk; most will work just fine with moderate loads, and others just as well with light loads. Now, let's take a close look at the Vantec ION2 power supply. The Ion2 is equipped with one large temperature controlled 120mm fan to cool the inside of the PSU, and keep noise to a minimum. There is no exhaust fan here, just a hexagonal grid for external venting from the one large intake fan.
