    Ultimate Mobile iPod Project Review

Posted on Wednesday, October 20 2004 @ 20:21:59 CEST by LSDsmurf

What do you get when you cross a 40GB Apple iPod MP3 player with a 2004 Acura RSX and $7,000 of Alpine car audio components? The Ultimate Mobile iPod Project of course. The Tech Zone shows you how to build it.

There are many companies that make interface modules to integrate your iPod to your car but without a doubt the Alpine KCA-420i is the best. Alpine can teach AMD a thing or two about doing a "paper launch". The KCA-420i was announced back in January at the 2004 CES but have just now hit the market. My advice to Alpine: If you announce a new product, it's best to ship it within a month or two from the announcement date.
