    Olympus mju 1040 Review

Posted on Wednesday, February 25 2009 @ 14:56:35 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

Olympus' mju series used to be reserved for the company's premium all-weather compacts, but now it includes budget-priced models that have plenty of style but lack the sophisticated features of their more expensive siblings. The mju 1040 is a good example; it's a 10-megapixel ultra-compact with a sliding front cover and an internal 3x zoom lens, but it lacks the water resistance, image stabilisation and other advanced features of some of the other models in the range. However it makes up for it with style, simplicity and surprisingly good performance.
