Samsung 5MP SCH-S250 Review
|
Posted on Thursday, October 21 2004 @ 18:43:39 CEST by LSDsmurf |
Samsung today officially launched their new Korean market 5 megapixel cameraphone, the SCH-S250. Of course we told you about the 5MP camera part already, but there is another surprise in there, too. The SCH-S250 sports a 16 Million color LCD display. That's right, a 24 bit display on a mobile phone. Not only does the display support a lot of colors (an understatement), but it is a nice large QVGA (240x320) unit, too.
The SCH-S250 makes use of Asahi Pentax's 5MP CCD camera module, according to the official Samsung press release. The camera is capable of shutter speeds as fast as 1/1000th of a second, which is very respectable. The handset can also be connected to a TV, like many digital cameras, so that the photos can be viewed more easily on a big screen. The SCH-S250 can also, of course, record video.
