    Motorola i860 Review

Posted on Thursday, October 21 2004 @ 18:45:31 CEST by LSDsmurf

Motorola has announced its latest phone for the Nextel iDEN network, the i860. The i860 brings many new advanced features to the table for iDEN phones, which historically have been less advanced than GSM models. Some of the new features include Picture Caller ID, Push-To-Send Contacts and Information, MP3 ringtones, and the new Openwave WAP browser. Other features include 10-second video capture, a VGA camera with 4x digital zoom and LED flash, as well as Nextel's famous PTT technology. A whopping 25MB of memory is allocated for user files such as ring tones, voice recordings, videos, pictures, messages, wallpaper designs, and Java applications. This is also one of the first phones we've seen to include a 'Push To Open' button, where you can open the phone by simply pushing a button.
