Patriot Warp v3 performance SSD 256GB Review

Posted on Friday, March 20 2009 @ 13:51:40 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

There is no doubt whatsoever, that Patriots new Warp v3 256 GB SSD is in a class of its own. The performance is nothing less of fantastic, and we can see a clear performanceboost in comparison to the Warp v2-series. It has been a rare pleasure testing this disc, since one might have a super fast overclocked Core i7-computer with a dual GPU graphics card and the works, but the harddisc is still a huge bottleneck, and that becomes clear when working with a SSD this sublime compared to HDD, which looks more like a leftover from World War 2 after having tried Patriot Warp v3.
