Rosewill RNX-N4 Wireless N Router Review

Posted on Friday, April 10 2009 @ 17:09:14 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

Today, we're taking a look at Rosewill's RNX-N4 router. In recent years, Linksys and D-link have been the trusted workhorses of the router world. Many of the less-known brands, like Rosewill, tend to get far less respect from most networking gurus and long-time enthusiasts. When the question is posed on just about any forum on the web, the top router brands dominate the conversation. That's not to say the top brands are perfect, because there have been some bad experiences with some the top brand router models. Additionally, we have had some inexpensive and lesser-known brands stand the test of time. Previously, an Xterasys 802.11g router lasted more than two years for us and was only traded out for upgrade purposes. The question is whether this RNX-N4 is a similar less-known workhorse, or should it simply be put out to pasture?
