Sony Sound Bar HT-CT100 Home Theater System Review

Posted on Sunday, April 19 2009 @ 20:45:32 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

Sound bars have been around for a few years now, but seem to have become more popular in the last year or so, it’s a great option for people like me who want better sound without a lot of components and hassles. I opted for the Sony Sound Bar HT-CT100, it’s small, and after reading many glowing reviews of it I did a bit of pricing research and bought it. It retails for an average price of $299 most places, which isn’t too bad, but I found it for $260 locally. The HT-CT100 allows me to hook up three HMDI devices, along with a Coax connections and an audio input from my TV, for me this system is perfect. It’s small overall, so it fits perfectly in the limited space I have, but yet yields a much needed improvement in the audio of my HDTV.
