When compared to competing drives like the Seagate Momentus 7200.3 320GB hard drive, the WD Scorpio Black 320GB hard drive falls a bit short as it was found to have lower read and write speeds. The WD Scorpio Black 320GB hard drive did do better than the 7200.3 when it comes to access times though..."
