While EA has done a marvelous job advertising Spore, the question you must ask yourself is if you're satisfied with a mediocre RTS that happens to have almost unlimited creature designs. That is the only fun aspect of the game in my opinion – the creature designer. And while I would say that this would not be a bad buy if you just happen to be bored, but with over 25 different titles across multiple platforms released this month alone, and with many much more to come, is Spore really worth $50. Not to me; personally I'd rather drown myself in Pure or Fading Shadows or Flat Out. How much is the creature creator really worth it to you? Honestly answer that question and you will have your answer to whether or not you should purchase EA's Spore.
