There are cheaper Skype headsets on the market if your needs are basic, but Plantronics’ .Audio 655 are solid and deliver exemplary voice quality. If you’re a heavy Skype user you do a lot worse, as long as you’re not after the ultimate in comfort. Audio, movie and gaming buffs should look elsewhere for a headset that’s a lot more confident and forceful. One suggestion is Logitech’s awesome G35 Gaming Headset, but that’ll cost you well over twice as much money. You might even want to consider a wireless solution, such as Plantronics’ .Audio 955 (from £43.49/$63.40).
