ColorVision Spyder2PRO Studio Monitor Calibration Tool Review

Posted on Wednesday, November 10 2004 @ 13:00:29 CET by LSDsmurf

The colorimeter is able to accurately read the output of the monitor, and uses this information in creating a custom profile that will compensate for any of the monitor's idiosyncrasies. The process takes about ten to fifteen minutes, and when it has completed, the user can view some sample images both with and without the calibration. This is useful for seeing just how much better the screen looks with calibration. You will tend to see a greater spectrum of color with increased contrast and more fidelity to real-life colors.
