Thermaltake Element G VL10001W2Z Case Review

Posted on Wednesday, October 07 2009 @ 20:05:01 CEST by Thomas De Maesschalck

Thermaltake specializes in cooling computer components like cases, CPUs and other components and they took a long hard look at the Element G design and it shows. Three 200mm+ fans a 140mm fan and room for more fans means this case has plenty of cooling for even the most demanding computer. The only limitation on this case really has to do with the 3 5.25” drive bays, but most people don’t use more than two optical drives anyway. The inclusion of two 2.5” drive mounts is a definite plus and a nod towards where most case manufacturers are going to be going with the improved performance of SSD drives compared to SATA drives. The Element G case is available online for a price of $149.99, making it a good buy for someone wanting excellent cooling on their case and plenty of HDD space.
