Thecus N7700 Ultimate NAS Server Review

Posted on Tuesday, November 03 2009 @ 14:25:40 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

Thecus is a company whose products I’ve reviewed quite a few times now. Their high end Network Access servers can go toe-to-toe with anything. It was two years ago that I reviewed the first version of the N5200. Since that time the N5200 has run virtually 24/7/365, only being shut down maybe a dozen times. Either when I have moved it to new locations, rearranged cables or firmware updates. It has also survived 2 separate UPS failures. The 5200’s drives are sitting at 15731 hours and counting. I have not had a single issue with the 5200 since its review.
