Canon EOS 500D Digital SLR Review

Launched in March of this year the Canon EOS 500D is an upgrade of the successful EOS 450D. Now that the 1000D has taken on the entry-level role in Canon's range, is the 500D aiming for more advanced users? It's certainly got the features for it, with a 15.1MP CMOS sensor, 1080p HD video, live view and a new viewfinder, among others.
