    NVIDIA's SLI - 6800 GT Performance Review

Posted on Friday, November 26 2004 @ 21:44:30 CET by LSDsmurf

I'm hoping you've read the first part of our SLI coverage before diving into this part. Today's article follows on from the initial article that looked at 6800 Ultra performance in SLI, by going the next rung down the current SLI performance ladder by looking at 6800 GT. I assume passing understanding of the basic SLI rendering modes and how an SLI system is put together.

In this article I'll cover 6800 GT performance and how driver revisions have affected SLI performance so far, cooling and powering your SLI box, before briefly touching on the price-performance question and SLI as an upgrade path, something I'll finish as I look at 6600 GT in the next couple of days.
