    Maddog Entertainer 7.1 DSP Review

    For HTPC users the Envy 24HT-S Chipset is one that meets and exceeds most of our needs in terms of audiophile levels of sound quality. One place where HTPC's differ from normal PC's is in the preferred chipset for the sound... Having the ability to produce bit-perfect sound with zero modifications being performed on the sound by Windows is a must. While not the greatest sound cards for Gamers, these Envy based cards excel in many other areas to merit consideration in any HTPC application. Today we take a look at one of the many many different types of Envy cards, the Maddog Entertainer 7.1.
