TechRader checked out IE9 and notes it feels a little unpolished in places and complains about the add-ons support, but overall its faster, more powerful and more secure than its predecessor.

"The newly minted IE9 is now finished, nigh on two years after IE8 landed on our PCs. Microsoft is championing improved speed and performance in the Internet Explorer 9 in a bid to shake IE's reputation as a bloated beast. This is a change of tack for the company, which in 2009 said that benchmark tests shouldn't be the main factor when determining the quality of a browser."
