Although RIM is currently enjoying success is the Middle East and many other parts of the world, the US and Europe have not been too kind to the manufacturer where Apple’s iPhone and Google’s Android based devices are much more popular.

To tackle this, RIM started working on BlackBerry 10 from ground up. It will be a completely new platform for RIM which will bring the same visual flare and operability to BlackBerry devices that other platforms have been enjoying. On top of that, RIM has been offering some very interesting options to developers to port their applications over to the new BlackBerry 10. They are certainly dedicated and fired up to make BlackBerry the heavy-weight it once was.
