PowerColor Theater 550Pro TV Tuner Review

Despite a large number of tuners available on the market, few actually
support hardware assisted MPEG2 encoding unlike the 550Pro. With the
growing popularity of DIY PVR units the Theater 550Pro unit based off of
ATI's Theater 550 chip may be the ideal solution, especially for those that
are just retiring older hardware as upgrades roll along. Other key features
include a 3DComb filter and hardware noise reduction which should help
filter out garbage in poor cable signals.
