The announcement that Samsung has sold the most phones, and in particular more than double the amount of iPhones, will no doubt be of little shock. The Samsung Galaxy S3 was the most popular selling smartphone in Q3 2012, following in the footsteps of its older brother, the now 18 month-old Samsung Galaxy S2.
