We compare Ubuntu 12.04 to Windows XP to find out which is the fastest Operating System with HTML5, Octane, Peacekeeper, Sunspider and V8. We will also be testing the Operating Sytems to find out how quickly they start up and shut down. We are testing Ubuntu 12.04 and Windows XP using the Firefox 19.00 browser which supports both Operating Systems and is a reliable browser from Mozilla.
