Assassin's Creed Syndicate Review

ā€¯After what was a horrible launch last year, the hope many have had is that Assassin's Creed Syndicate would heal the damage done and help the franchise move forward. Largely I believe it has accomplished that goal and to that end can recommend the game, but it is not as strong a title as I had hoped. (Mainly that is because of the story issues I described.) Still, if you are looking for a good and enjoyable action, adventure, and stealth game, this can scratch that itch. The graphics are visually quite good and the performance is okay, but it still has the random pausing of Unity. For me, the story lacks motivation and that hurts it, but many of the character interactions are very entertaining, so it is still enjoyable. The gameplay has some improvements over previous titles, a number of mechanics that are functional, but I believe need more polish, and the rope launcher is more limited than I think it should be. Still a fun game that hopefully heralds a stronger future for the franchise."
