Although WinHEC has already been a couple of weeks, there was a session that is well worth discussing and is very relevant especially with AMD pulling the veil off their Athlon 64 X2 processors today. The session hosted by AMD went into detail about why both Intel and AMD are entering the dual core market and how they manage to keep the thermal envelope and power consumption roughly the same as a single core processor amongst several other topics.
