    AM-DeadLink 3.2 beta 1

Posted on Wednesday, January 30 2008 @ 12:58:39 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck

AM-DeadLink detects dead links and duplicates in browser bookmarks and text files. If a bookmark has become unavailable you can verify and delete it permanently. Additionally you can download FavIcons for all your Favorites and Bookmarks.

    Changelog:
    • AM-DeadLink can be installed as portable application
    • Check *.URL files on your hard disk
    • Changed shortcut to edit bookmark properties: F2
    • AM-DeadLink no longer reports HTML redirections when they are placed in noscript areas
    • NTLM proxy authentication improved
    • Proxy support with user/password authentication improved
    • AM-DeadLink reported an error if a bookmark had a valid 2xx status code
    • Some servers reported an error when Accept-Language wasn't sent to the server
    • AM-DeadLink could crash when copying a bookmark to clipboard
    • File+Export always used the file extension ".txt"
    • FTP addresses didn't work under certain circumstances
    • Minor fixes and improvements
