Image for Windows (IFW) is a Win32-based drive image backup and restore utility that creates or restores a snapshot of an entire partition or volume. The backups can be saved to a set of files on a local or network drive, or directly to most CD or DVD drives (which will create a bootable restore disc). If something should ever happen to that partition or volume, you will be able to simply restore the snapshot image.

Changelog:
  • Added checkboxes to allow selection of multiple partitions instead of just the entire drive or a single partition. (substantial code changes)
  • Added warning when directly accessing files and the target would overwrite the source.
  • Added auto alignment for command line restores.
  • Added /n2ka option to disable the new auto alignment feature.
  • Hidden status in MBR is saved on restores when MPT exists.
  • Added /mg (UseMBRGeo) option.
  • Other Misc.
  • Program Information
