Spiffy is a Gmail notifier for Windows, it's free and totally customizable.
Changelog:
added option to start/stop checking for mail
added option to customize date/time format (defaults to local settings)
added options to modify mouse actions on alert
fixed bug with special chars showing as question marks (Thanks Leif)
fixed bug with empty tell me again, again
