Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) cipher & uses 256 bits. When using WS_FTP Professional 2006 in SSL and OpenPGP mode, your data transfers are now protected by AES, the largest, strongest, encryption key available.
AES encryption is so strong, it has been selected by NIST as a Federal Information Processing Standard in November 2001 and in June 2003 the U.S. Government (NSA) announced that AES is secure enough to protect classified information up to TOP SECRET - the highest security level.
Other file transfer clients who rely on 128 or 192 cipher keys are just not as secure. WS_FTP Professional 2006 uses 256 bits to protect your data at maximum security levels.
Note: Software piracy is illegal, we only link to legal versions and it's not allowed to ask for cracks, serials, registration codes or key generators for WS_FTP 2006 in our comment section. Use the comments if you get errors with this program or just to tell us how great it is ;)
