    Hamachi 1.0.0.55 beta

Posted on Friday, April 21 2006 @ 13:03:38 CEST by LSDsmurf

    Changelog:
    • Added support for automatically configuring required port forwarding rules on 'home routers' via Universal Plug and Play. This feature is transparent in a sense that it requires no configuration and does not manifest itself in any way other than reduced number of 'yellow status' peers.
The feature may be turned off completely by using respective option in Preferences / System.
Note however that Hamachi does not depend on infamous SSDP Windows service and therefore having UPnP feature enable poses *zero* risk to your system. We encourage everyone to keep this feature enabled as it improves overall quality of the communications over Hamachi networks.
    • Added -no-splash command line option. Hamachi will not show 'Starting ..' splash window when it initializes.
    • Applied a fix for 'Sticky Away' problem
    • Applied small fix to the code that is responsible for recoving .ini configuration files after an abrupt computer shutdown (ie crash).
