No Protocol Revision. A connected user will not be notified that the Client Agent needs to be upgraded, if the remote machine is running v5.1 or above. However, keep in mind this is strictly for authentication. We strongly recommend you always upgrade the MRC Client Agent on the remote machine to match this current version as well. Otherwise we cannot guarantee the software will work properly, including any fixes or changes included in these releases.
Possible issue when connecting to remote Windows 2000 machines via Smart Card Login. Only occured on remote Windows 2000 machines, and only on brand new installations of the DameWare Virtual Smart Card Reader. If the Virtual Smart Card reader was installed previously by version 5.5 of the software, then this Windows 2000 machine would work fine. Fixed.
On some Servers, MRC SysTray icon may appear for all connected users in Citrix or Terminal Services sessions. Fixed.
