There isn't a whole lot we know for certain about NVIDIA's next generation of gaming GPUs. Officially, NVIDIA hasn't said anything about these chips yet, other than that Pascal will continue to be the best gaming platform for the foreseeable future. The rumor mill claims the next generation is codenamed Ampere, but earlier this month a Reuters report talked about Turing, a codename we hadn't heard before.

PCGamesN chimes in with a fresh rumor and claims there will not be any new consumer GPUs launches in March. Neither the NVIDIA GPU Technology Conference nor the Game Developers Conference is seen as the launch venue for NVIDIA's next gaming cards.

Perhaps NVIDIA will share some details about its next-gen gaming GPUs as one of these events, but it looks like you shouldn't get your hopes up for an actual product launch.
