Skyhawk Galaxy Lx Case review

The little box

Some goodies

Included with this case was a little grey box with a bag of screws and stand offs for your motherboard, 2 normal PCI brackets, a 2 to 3 pin connector for the power LED and an I/O plate. This I/O plate is by the way a cheap one and it isn't very solid.

Now let's move on to the goodies.

UV Reactivity?!

Front panel

The Q-panel

Yep, both of them are highly UV Reactive. Very cool isn't it

One of the special things about the acrylic from both the front and side panel is that it's highly UV reactive! This isn't very usable for the front panel because I don't think anyone will hang a Cold Cathode in front of his case, but this can give some very nice effects with the Q-panel when you stick an UV Cold Cathode in your case!

The bubble lights
One of the most special things about this case are the bubble tubes! When you plug in their Molex connector they start to rotate between 7 different colors. You can stop at a specific color by pressing on the button in the bottom front panel. Especially the light and dark blue looks very cool! The only thing I'm missing here is some movement. If they could make the bubbles move (a little bit like a lava lamp, or with air bubbles) this would have been a real giant killer feature!! They circulate from light blue, red, dark yellow, light purple, a little bit darker purple , green to dark blue.
