Apple's iTunes sells a billion

Apple's iTunes online music service has reached the one billion mark.

The company proudly announced its 21 iTunes music stores across the glove have sold a total of more than one billion songs.

The person who downloaded the one billionth song was awarded with an iMac, a $10,000 iTunes gift card and 10 iPods. Apple also gave a scholarship, to a music college of his or her choice.
