Posted on Friday, March 03 2006 @ 19:15:53 CET by

OCZ announced the release of PC-3200 Platinum 1024MB XTC and PC-3200 Platinum Revision 2 XTC. The launch of the new series will meet the needs of today’s high-end system builders, gamers and enthusiasts who seek high performance DDR400 memory solutions.

The PC-3200 Platinum XTC will be available in 1024MB (1GB) modules and 2GB (2x1024MB) dual channel kits with exceptional CL timings of 2-3-2-5. The PC-3200 Platinum Revision 2 XTC will be available in a 1GB (2x512MB) dual channel optimized kit with blazing fast timings of 2-2-2-5. Both PC-3200 series feature high-quality, platinum mirrored XTC (Xtreme Thermal Convection) heatspreaders for the most effective heat dissipation possible by promoting greater airflow than conventional heatspreader designs.
