Antispyware: HitmanPro 2.4 is released

Posted on Monday, March 20 2006 @ 4:05 CET by Thomas De Maesschalck
Developer Mark Loman has worked hard on a new interface and fixed some important issues. After Hitman Pro is installed and the desired instruction/configurations have been carried out, several antispywareprograms will be downloaded of the Internet and Hitman Pro will install the (chosen) programs and will run these independently. Programs such as Ad-Aware, Spy Sweeper, Spybot, SpywareBlaster, CWShredder and the recent developed Micro Sysclean will by means of the automatic update provide you with the latest antispywaredefinitions. After the programmes have scanned the computer on viruses and spy-, ad- and malware a report is generated so you can check what it did and what it found. Please note that you are still in control you decide if you want to delete something or not ;-)
